Marcus Hoerger

Marcus Hoerger is a research fellow at the Australian National University’s School of Computing and ARIAM. Before his engagement, he was a postdoc at School of Mathematics & Physics, The University of Queensland (UQ). Marcus received his PhD from the School of ITEE at UQ and the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab at CSIRO under the supervision of Prof. Hanna Kurniawati and Prof. Alberto Elfes.

His current research interests lies at the intersection of AI and Robotics, including robust decision-making under partial observability, motion planning under uncertainty and reinforcement learning in partially observable environments.
